Last Blog-Well Probably :)

I thought I would use my very last blog to say that I AM DONE WITH MY WEBSITE!! If it's not already obvious, I'm really excited about it. Blogging has been fun and something totally different. That is why I said my last blog- well probably. I'm not sure if I actually want to completely stop blogging. Its kind of a fun way just to write about whatever.

LOG #2

The number of times I will have to blog are quickly getting smaller. Amazing how fast an entire semester can go. I know I shouldn't wish for my college education to speed by, but it is just so hard. My uncle recently told me that college was the best time of his life, and when he finally did graduate it was a huge shock to realize that he would have go to work everyday. For me though I think I will enjoy working everyday-I guess I will figure out the answer to that soon enough.

I had every intention of finishing by website this weekend, and that didn't happen. Looking forward to a  busy week ahead!! Enjoy these last few weeks!

LOG #1

So, today in English we did the very last intensive reviews, ever! The three papers that we had to review were all very interesting to read. With a little work I am sure they will all have excellent papers. Good luck to you all!! Tonight after class I think I am going to try to completely finish my portfolio. I have most of it done, I just need to write my reflection and put my website into context-oh and finish my website!! If I get that all done tonight, I will be very happy and be ready to enjoy the weekend.

Currently I have to attend seven more classes and take my finals and will officially be done with the semester. I'm ready to start at the Lima branch of Ohio State :) Hopefully, things go well!!

Feeling of Accomplishment!

I feel like I have accomplished soooo much today! What an awesome feeling. I have all my psychology homework and ISOM homework done for the rest of the semester! It took me all day to get it all done, but it was totally worth it.

I did get some bad news today though. A robbery back in my home town ended in two people getting murdered. For a small town like mine, this is very VERY unusual and everyone is extremely scared. Hopefully the people that created this mess get caught soon. Praying for the families that lost loved ones <3.

I forgot to blog twice last week so I will have to do extra this week! Hopefully something exciting happens so I will have something to write about. If not, you may want to avoid my boring blogs.

Anyway, it was good to get to work on my website today in class. I feel like I got soo much done! My works cited page is almost done, then after that its just revising and editing. It feels weird to be almost finished with all the projects that I will ever have to do in English 103. But hey, I'm not complaining.

Thanksgiving :)

After today, we will officially be on Thanksgiving break. How exciting? It will be nice to have a break, and at the same time have free time to get caught up on some work. There are only three weeks left of the semester when we come back from break. That means it is time to really get some stuff done!!

I am going to meet with Professor McArdle soon. I hope this conference goes well and I get some good ideas on how I could improve my work. Other ideas are always so helpful!! I feel like looking at your own paper for so long could cause you to miss things that other people could see. Well, I started off this day good with a 98% on my ISOM test, hopefully the rest of the day is even better. Enjoy the break!!

ugh, procrastination.

I literally spent all day working on my psychology paper that is due for my night class tonight. Yes, I procrastinated and had to do the whole thing today. I probably could have gotten it done in a few hours, but instead I took like twenty breaks and kept watching t.v. Note to self: TURN THE TV OFF! Oh well, I'm done now. I had hoped to accomplish a lot today, but doesn't really look like that happened. There's always tomorrow I guess. Website- I will, MUST, finish you this weekend! :)

I had a pretty awesome weekend!! I stayed up here on Friday so I could take my psychology test. Guess what??!! I did super awesome on it! I also got to spend lots of time with my niece and nephew, and hang out with my brothers. Good weekends rock! So, I really need to get to working on my website. I have a bunch of good ideas for it, and got some good ideas from others, I just need to find to put those good ideas to work! Thanksgiving break, I'm counting on you!

Ohh Psychology.

After my psychology class tonight, I'm getting a little bit nervous about the test this weekend. I did really good on the first one, so hopefully this one turns out the same way!! The SI session for the exam was soo helpful! Why can't they have them for every class? It would make everything so much easier. Not too many weeks of school left for this semester, so I really need to start getting super motivated!

English is about to start, but I thought I would try to get a quick blog in before it does. This week is looking pretty busy! I have two tests and lots of homework. It sounds tough, but I hope I can get it all done and do well. Today I realized that Thanksgiving is just a few weeks away. That makes me soo excited!! I need a break, and I'm sure everyone else does too.
In class today we are going to do peer reviews. I can honestly say that I love those days! They are so helpful. I'm looking forward to hearing what the people in my group have to say about my website.

Homework on a Saturday?

I just finished the rough draft for my website concerning the increased importance of organ donation. I feel really good about what I have done already. I think it is a good start to an awesome project! It does need a lot of work though. Hopefully, after peer reviews I will have some good ideas on what to add or to improve.

It's Wednesday!!

It's Wednesday, which means that it is getting pretty close to being the weekend. Who doesn't get excited about that?! I'm pretty nervous about this next project that we have to do in English. I'm not much of a computer person, so it could be difficult for me. I will definitely try to do good on it though!
I have to get going back to school so I don't have much time to write today. I came home yesterday just for fun :) Too bad I have a night class tonight..

I'm very excited for this weekend! On Saturday I am going to a Halloween/ Housewarming party at my cousins house. I still haven't decided what to be... SUGGESTIONS! :) 
On Monday, I get to visit OSU in Lima. I'm really REALLY excited about that. I have researched it a ton and I'm almost positive that I will be going there winter quarter. Hopefully, I like it better there.

Decisions.. Decisions..

I feel pretty good about the research paper we just did. Atleast I hope I did good. I put a lot of time into writing it. In my opinion, I would have to say that it's been one of the best papers we have written in class. It's kind of fun to research different things and see what you come up with. I learned A LOT while doing my paper..
Well anyway, I'm pretty sure I have made the decision to transfer schools after the semester. For some reason, I just can't seem to like it here. It's a great school, but I guess it's not for everyone. Monday, I am visiting two different schools and I'm pretty sure I will be going to one of them. I'm really excited about it!!

Today has not been so good. I try to like school, but it just isn't happening. I want to get a degree in something, I just don't know if I want to get it here. UGH. Isn't there someone that can make these choices for me?! Probably not, so I have a lot of thinking to do.
Anyway, I finished up my research paper yesterday. I thought I did really well on. Hopefully my grade shows that I did at the end of the semester!! See you all in class tomorrow :)

Fall Break :)

I am LOVING fall break!! Can it please just be like a week longer?
It feels awesome to get to be at home for so long! But, tomorrow its back to school. I'm ok with it though because I only have to stay there one night, then I get to come back home! I'm such a baby. I hate being away from home!!
Anyway.. my fall break was tons of fun. I hung out with some friends, went to a wedding, watched a bunch of movies, and got a new cell phone :) not every weekend is that fun, but definitely wish it was!! Well,  I need to finish writing my paper so I can start on some more homework. Enjoy the last day of Fall Break everyone.. :)

So I though I was going to get a lot done today, and that just isn't happening. I can't get motivated!! I did get some of my psychology experiments hours done today. The experiment was suppose to take an hour and I was done in ten minutes!! Three more hours to go!
I have psychology later today, and my first reaction paper is due. The format seems very crucial to getting a good grade so I hope I used the correct format! I took an exam for that class this weekend and got a pretty good grade. I was super excited about that. Well, I have to get ready to go to a SI session..

So, we don't have English this week. I loved the extra time I had today to do homework! On Thursday I am meeting with Professor McArdle to go over the papers we have written in his class so far. I'm looking forward to the advice he gives me so I can hopefully improve my papers.
I almost forgot to blog since we didn't have class to remind me!! Well, I don't have much to say today...

oohh Thursday!

I hope this day goes by fast. I'm ready to go home! But, I have to come back up saturday to take and Inqsit exam for psychology. I've been studying a lot for it so hopefully I do well!! We get to take it twice, so I better atleast do decent on one of the tests that I take!
Well, this weeks been good. I've got most of my homework done so there won't be much to do this weekend. I probably should get a head start on next week's stuff though. We'll see.

So, yesterday I went on a field trip with my niece Myah to Brumbaugh Fruit Farm. We got to go through corn mazes, go on hay rides, and a bunch of different things. It was a lot of fun getting to hang out with a bunch of kindergarteners.
Today in English, we met in Bracken Library. A librarian there showed us different methods to use when doing research. It will be very helpful when I start working on my next paper. I'm thinking about using the topic Unethical Techniques Used in Advertisements. Hopefully its a good topic...

Currently, I am sitting in English waiting for class to start. Today we are doing intensive reviews over a few peoples paper. I actually wish we were going to go over my paper because I need some help!! I finished revising my paper last night. It's good, but I still think there is something missing. Oh well, I guess I will just have to work on it again this weekend (maybe!! ;) )
I have two more classes after this, then I am home for the weekend AGAIN! I love weekends :)

Can this week go fast? PLEASE!

Today in English we got into our peer review groups and discussed our Rhetorical Analysis essays. Getting in those groups is really helpful. My group gave me lots of good ideas on ways I could change my paper so I could make improvements. Sometimes I overlook what I write, so it's awesome that someone else can look it over for you.
The rest of my day went pretty good. I got my exam score back in anthropology. We took a test last Thursday and I was really nervous about it. But, I got an 82!! Its not the best grade, but I expected to fail. I'll take the 82!
Well, I'm gonna finish up some homework then watch my Tuesday night t.v. shoes :) Good night everyone.

Guess who had the best weekend ever! Yep, that's me! I had a wedding to go to this weekend up near Toledo. It was my cousin Bryan's. I sang at the wedding mass, and it went very well! Everyone had an awesome time!

But tomorrow its back to school. 

Today I finished up all the homework I had before I head back to school in the morning. I hope this week goes uper fast!! I'm ready for Trader's Days this weekend at the sportsmen's club!

Today I didn't have my ISOM class, so I didn't have to leave for school until about nine this morning. What a great start to the day!

In English we talked about the rhetorical analysis paper that we will be doing. I think I am going to choose to do mine over Taylor Swift Lyrics. I don't love her, but I thought the paper would be easy to do over one of her songs. I hope to get started on the paper very SOON!

I wish I could keep writing, but I have my very first college math test in an hour. I NEED TO STUDY! I don't really think it will help, but maybe. Wish me luck! :)

Two more classes and I'm going home for the weekend! Of course those classes happen to be my least favortie ones, so I hope they go by super fast!!

Today in English, we talked about the rhetorical analysis paper that we are going to work on. I haven't done anything like it before. It will be interesting to get started and see how difficult it is. I think I might do mine over song lyrics, but I don't know which song I should do. Open to suggestions!

It's Wednesday, which means we are almost to the weekend!

Today I tried to spend lots of time doing homework. It is kind of hard trying to study for exams when your not really sure what to expect. I want the first exam to be over so I can get a feel for what they will be like in each class, then do the class work based on that.

In English on Tuesday the class discussed my "This I Believe" essay. It was super helpful. Getting other people's thoughts and ideas will really help me imporve my paper. (HOPEFULLY!) It was good to hear what areas of my paper the others liked and which areas need work.

Help!

Does this college thing get any easier? I know it's annoying to complain, but I really think it will make me feel better. There is just so much to do, and I feel like I have no time to do it. Obviously it is do-able though. Look at all those people who already have college degrees. I just hope in the end of all of this, I am one of those people that has a college degree!! Complaining helps :)

I am only five classes away from getting to go home, and hopefully having another awesome weekend. You start to really enjoy the weekends when your weeks are pretty terrible. It's only Wednesday, and I need a break!

Too Much Homework!

I have so much homework to do, so I decided to take a break and do something slightly enjoyable. Yes, after doing hours of homework, blogging does become enjoyable.I know they tell you in high school that college is going to be hard, and I've finally realized that they weren't lying! 

Today in class we got into our peer review groups and discussed our This I Believe Essays. It was actually pretty cool getting to see what everybody decided to write about. It showed what they really believed in. Of course my paper was chosen for the intensive review, so I hope I did a good enough job!

Well, I think I better move on to something else.

Ready for Labor Day!

I have a break right now between classes, so I am trying to get some of my homework done before I go home tonight. I already finished my This I Believe essay, which I am really excited about. It feels awesome to have got something accomplished! It's Labor Day weekend, and I know I will be too busy to do any school work. 

My weekend is going to consist of watching a bunch of old tractors plow a field! Sounds boring, right? That's what we do in Fort Recovery since our options for fun are kind of limited. It's actually pretty cool. There is just a bunch of people riding around on four wheelers and golf carts having a good time. Some people even camp there, and that's what I plan on doing with my boyfriend's family. Should be a good time :)

The Start of a New Week..

It was hard having to come back to school after I was home for four days, but I guess I didn't really have a choice. I better get use to it considering I will get to be doing it for the next FOUR YEARS! It seems like such a long time, but I'm hoping it goes fast. 

Today in English we talked about the "This I Believe" essay. I'm nervous to start working on it! It has to be four pages long, which will make it the longest essay I have ever wrote! I'm thinking about some different ideas, but haven't really decided on anything yet.

Well, I'm done with class for the day and better start working on some homework. I'm trying really hard to keep up (or even ahead) with all of my homework. We will see how long it takes for procrastination to kick in!

Its Thursday!!!

Today in class we just went over Ball Point. Probably the most boring thing ever! haha. I guess it was necessary so we all understand everything. I also tried getting my blog to work correctly, but I still can't comment on anyones post. Hopefully it gets figured out soon.

If I don't learn anything the rest of the day, atleast I learned this: If you put saturn in a giant cup of water, it'd float. It'd also look really cool because all the rings would spin ;)

Since I only have class Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, I get to go home tonight!! Im super excited. Its seems like I've been here forever, but really just since Sunday. Looking forward to a little time with friends and family before I get to start all this over next week.

My Very First Blog

I've never blogged before, so this semester of blogging will be something totally new and exciting for me.Today in class we got to know each other by telling everyone our name, our favorite movie, and our favorite book. Since I am horrible at making decisions, picking just one favorite was really hard, so I just picked one I liked. Besides, who can have just one favorite movie when there are so many good ones?! We also discussed a short story we were suppose to read (and i actually did!). This story was about time in 2081 where everyone was equal due to handicaps that the Handicapper General gave them. It was an interesting story, but I found it to be slighty unbelievable. If everyone in the world were completely equal, then nothing would ever change. How boring? There would never be any new inventions or great discoveries.

The rest of my day went pretty good considering it was my very first day of college classes! Looking forward to starting new journeys and meeting new people. :)
